Tehran (IP): Recalling the hegemonic actions of Western countries in the contemporary history of the world, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran considered the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and the support of Western countries for these crimes as the naked face of Western racism and colonialism.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran press, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, "Ebrahim Raisi", on Wednesday, during his meeting with Bakary Sangare, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, in Tehran, described and called the desire for independence and the resistance of the people of this country against the European hegemonic policies, as indicative of the fact that t Africa has truly passed from colonialism, adding :

"Strength and standing in the path of achieving goals and maintaining unity and cohesion is the key to success in achieving independence and freedom," Raisi said.

The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, pointing to the valuable experiences and capabilities that the Iranian nation has gained thanks to the Islamic revolution in the past four decades, emphasized the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to cooperate in beneficial economic areas.

Recalling the domineering actions of western countries in the contemporary history of the world, President Raisi considered the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza strip and the support of western countries for these crimes as the naked face of the racism and colonialism of the westerners at present time.

Bakary Sangare, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, expressing his satisfaction at seeing the progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stated that the purpose of his visit to Iran is to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and to raise the level of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Earlier on Tuesday, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, met with Bakary Sangare, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger, on Tuesday Afternoon who had traveled to the Islamic Republic of Iran at the head of a delegation.

They discussed and exchanged views on various topics of mutual interest in the realm of bilateral and international relations, as well as the latest internal developments in Niger.

During the meeting, Amir-Abdollahian highlighted the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran vis-à-vis the expansion of relations with African countries. He emphasized the importance of enhancing mutual cooperation across diverse areas, including political, economic, scientific, and technological fields. He stressed as significant the exchange of high-level delegations between the two countries aimed at advancing the interests of both parties.

Amir-Abdollahian regarded the joint commission for economic cooperation between the two countries as a fitting framework for turning the aspirations of senior officials from both nations into practical cooperation. He stressed the necessity of activating the joint commission and expressed optimism that through its restructuring, significant progress in this regard would be achieved.

Sangare, for his part, highlighted the high capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran in various economic, scientific, and technological domains. He emphasized Niger’s eagerness to foster relations with Iran across various sectors.
