Caracas(IP)- The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized that there is considerable untapped capacity to increase economic exchanges between Iran and Venezuela, and stated that the way to realize the $20 billion economic cooperation is serious activity and investment between the two countries.

Iran PressAmerica: According to Iran's President official site, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the last program of the first day of his official visit to Venezuela, at the joint meeting of businessmen of the two countries, considered the strengthening of knowledge-based activities and cooperation as one of the important measures in the economic field. He also stressed the opening of a technology office in Venezuela.

Raisi considered foiling the sanctions and becoming stronger in the economic sphere as the most effective way to deal with the sanctions and said:

"Iranian youths took opportunities amid the sanctions through knowledge-based companies and were able to promote peace and stability in Iran against the impulses."

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran described the relations between Iran and Venezuela very well and stated: "In order to facilitate and accelerate the development of economic exchanges, thanks to the implementation of the agreements, customs, banking, and tariff barriers will be removed.

Raisi considered the duties of Iranian ambassadors, commercial offices, science and technology centers, and all departments active in the fields of industry, mining, and banking to facilitate trade between the two countries and solve the problems of Iranian companies.

Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed a political and economic delegation to Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba in Latin America, in order to strengthen relations with friendly countries.

Caracas is the first destination of Ayatollah Raisi's five-day trip.
