Iran Press/ Iran news: The studies for the construction of Chamshir Dam started in 1994, and the implementation operations began in 2012 by obtaining the necessary permits from the relevant organizations with a credit of about 230 million Euros.
Moreover, its construction operations were stopped and slow. Still, with the 22-month efforts of the Raisi administration and the allocation of exceptional credit, it has been completed and reached the operational stage.
The Chamshir Dam boasts an impressive height of 151 meters and a crown length of 580 meters. Its reservoir holds a massive volume of 2.3 billion cubic meters, while the accompanying lake stretches for 48 kilometers and covers an area of 51 square kilometers at a normal level.
