Iran Press/ Iran News: In his congratulatory message to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi stated that during Tokayev's visit to Tehran and the bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Samarkand, perfect understanding were reached and the officials are working hard to realize it.
Raisi noted that the trip to Astana to participate in the Conference on Interaction & Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was also in line with bolding the importance of regional relations to ensure peace and security in Asia and announcing the message of friendship and fraternity with the government and people of Kazakhstan.
He added that by relying on the excellent capacities of the two countries and paying attention to the existing capabilities in bilateral relations, it is possible to further expand the level of mutual ties in various fields.
