Iran Press/ America: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Washington on Wednesday, citing US support for arms sales to Saudi Arabia while claiming that Iran threatens regional and Saudi's security, and supports Houthis in Yemen.
Pompeo claimed that the ballistic missiles fired at Saudi oil facilities were from Iran and that the technologies used in the Yemeni Houthi drones also originated in Tehran.
The US Secretary of State also referred to the agreement on normalization of relations between the UAE, Bahrain and the Zionist regime while expressing hope that Saudi Arabia would join the agreement.
At a news conference, Pompeo also claimed on Wednesday that the policy of "maximum pressure" on Iran had cut off its access to finance.
After the illegal withdrawal from the JCPOA (May 8, 2018), the United States has launched a comprehensive campaign to put pressure on Iran, but after about two and a half years, it has not achieved any of its goals.
