Iran Press/ West Asia: At the scientific meeting of Al-Aqsa Flood Fears and Hopes which was held this evening (Tuesday) with the presence of several West Asian experts in person and virtually at the Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, the representative of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine, Naser Abu Sharif stated that Westerners and several Arab countries want to deal a blow to the resistance, of course, they will not reach to their goal.
He further stated that the Israeli regime has also announced that it wants to destroy Hamas along with the release of prisoners, and the United States and its allies have given Tel Aviv the green light for this goal, but after 66 days, since the start of the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, the Israeli regime has not been able to gain victory.
Abu Sharif added, that these days we are witnessing an unprecedented amount of Israeli attacks on Gaza, but despite all these Zionist attacks, the resistance fighters are still busy fighting the Israelis and 500 Israeli soldiers have been killed so far.
The representative of Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Tehran said that despite Israel's devastating crimes, the resistance fighters have the upper hand in the Gaza war and so far have prevented the realization of Israel's goals.
Abu Sharif added that the Palestinian discourse is currently dominating the Israeli discourse in the world, and in this war, it became clear that Israel has no plan to contain the resistance fighters.
He also said that in the economic aspect, Israelis have suffered a lot and are in a very weak situation.
Abu Sharif emphasized, that the release of Israeli prisoners will be done only in exchange for a permanent ceasefire.
