Iran Press/Iran news: Tehran Symphony Orchestra, under the batons of Shahrdad Rohani performed a different repertoire of pieces by a number of world-renowned composers.
This was the beginning of Tehran Symphony Orchestra's winter performances as it will also give a concert during the Fajr Music Festival, Iran Press reported.
'Carnival Overture' by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak and 'Symphony No. 2' by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff were the highlights of the repertoire.
The repertoire also included 'Baroque Flamenco' by American musician Deborah Henson and 'Peter and the Wolf' by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev.
Veteran Iranian voice actor George Petrosi collaborated as a narrator in performing 'Peter and the Wolf'. 101
