Russia (IP) - Iran's President stresses that to advance the cooperation projects in different fields between the Islamic Republic and the Federative Republic of Russia requires communication teams.

Iran Press/Europe: Meeting with a group of businessmen in Russia, Masoud Pezeshkian referred to the strategic comprehensive agreement signed between the two countries and noted that the geography of the region has fostered an opportunity out of which the two countries must facilitate their access to regional markets.

President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Moscow on Friday, January 17, at his counterpart's official invitation, to enhance bilateral relations and finalize a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation.

Pezeshkian said negotiations were done to complete the transit routes including the north-south, east-west corridors, and ports to carry out cooperation projects and noted:

"To operationalize these projects, we must be aware of each other's capabilities, which requires creating teams in different fields, including economic, academic, industrial, commercial teams, and so on, to communicate with each other."

Elsewhere in his speech, the Iranian president referred to the West as the common barrier of Iran and Russia to progress, reminding the audience of the fact that the West wants to dominate over the world's independent countries, like Iran and Russia, and sanctions them so that rules them however it wants.

Pezeshkian stressed that in case these countries effectively interact with each other, they would be able to boycott the West, thanks to the vast and rich markets they possess.

These [Western states, including the US], through the frameworks they have created, are boycotting and frightening us, and making problems for us, so our communication and cooperation to ease the problems are necessary," he reiterated.
