Tehran (IP) — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has appointed Mohsen Haji Mirzaei as the President's Representative and Chairman of the Foreign Travels Supervision Board.

Iran PressIran News: This appointment is part of the implementation of Paragraph 1 of Article 1 of the Law on Supervision of Foreign Travels for Government Employees.

In an official letter of appointment, President Pezeshkian expressed his expectations for Haji Mirzaei to pay special attention to legal duties within the framework of the vision document, general policies, and the 7th development plan, while also adhering to the code of conduct of the 14th government.

The letter begins with a formal invocation: "In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful," and continues with a direct address to Haji Mirzaei, affirming his new role.

Dr. Haji Mirzaei previously served as the Minister of Education under former President Hassan Rouhani and holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tehran, a Master's degree in Management from the National Institute of Management, and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the Islamic Azad University.

This appointment comes at a time when the Iranian government is focusing on enhancing oversight of government employees' foreign travels, ensuring compliance with national policies and regulations.
