Iran Press/ Iran News: Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi meets with poets, cultural figures, and elites during his visit to East Azerbaijan on Thursday.
Raisi considered poetry a means to depict the resistance and sacrifices of the people, including the people of Tabriz, in the fight against the world's bullies and arrogant powers.
He stressed the investment in such cultural areas, including poetry and art, to make the new Iranian generation familiar with the national grand figures to consolidate the historical memories of the people.
The Iranian president noted that Persian literature is not separate from Azeri literature nor the two are separate from religious literature because in Islamic Iran all of these are mingled with each other.
