Iran Press/Asia: According to the Iran Press Agency from Islamabad, Persian language courses were held at the Islamabad Women's College located in the "G-10" area of the Pakistani capital during a ceremony attended by Majid Meshki, the cultural counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During this event, organized with the goal of enhancing cultural exchanges between Iran and Pakistan, the Iranian cultural advisor emphasized the significance of the Persian language in bolstering interpersonal and cultural ties between nations, adding, "The Persian language is not only part of the common heritage of the two countries of Iran and Pakistan, but also a bridge that connects cultures and civilizations."
He appreciated the efforts of the officials of the Islamabad Women's College for holding Persian language classes, adding: "Teaching Persian can pave the way for the development of cultural relations and the expansion of scientific and artistic cooperation between the two countries."
Professors and officials at the Women's College of Islamabad also stressed the significance of these courses at this ceremony, considering it a valuable opportunity for students to become familiar with the rich Persian language and literature.
One of the professors present at the ceremony said, "Instructing individuals in the Persian language can greatly enhance mutual cultural comprehension and grant students access to valuable scientific and literary materials."
