Iran Press/Iran News: Persepolis Football Director Afshin Peyrovani said, "By reaching the final of Asian Champions League, it was a big day for us, and we showed that we are a great and popular team."
Payrovani on Sunday night on the sidelines of the welcoming ceremony of the Persepolis football team at Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency added, "We did our best to be successful and we will play in the final game with unity, empathy, and strength to win that game too."
Persepolis Football Director also referred to the pursuit of lifting the ban on Issa Alekasir, adding that "We have prepared our protest to send it to the Asian Football Confederation and we will hear good news in the future."
After reaching the final of the Asian Champions League, the Persepolis football team arrived at Iran's Imam Khomeini Airport on Sunday night with a crowd of fans, officials of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and a group of football retired players.
Persepolis reached the final of the Asian Champions League, defeating Al-Taawoun of Saudi Arabia, Al-Sharjah of the UAE, Al-Sadd of Qatar, Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan, and Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia.
