Tehran (IP) - Iran's Parliament Speaker stated that the share of cooperatives in the economy should be strengthened.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said in the meeting on "People's Law-Based Cooperation and Governance" that the government directs a large part of the country, and a small part is participated by the private sector, and people-based cooperatives. 

Iran's parliament Speaker noted that the management of none governmental economy units should be entrusted to the rightful people and stressed that Cooperative sectors should be handed over to the people and popularized. 

The Iranian Parliament Speaker urged that in managing countries affairs, an evolutionary look should be kept on different areas from economy to culture and environmental issues.

The process of popularization must include four features to be realized: it must focus on its purpose, and the solution is using people's initiatives and management; the process must be manageable, it must be done in a self-regulatory manner, and finally, it must be reciprocal, Ghalibaf explained. 

He stressed using a transparent and intelligent approach to making the country's economy people-oriented.
