Al-Quds (IP) - Amid repeated attacks of settlers on al-Aqsa mosque, Palestinian people perform dawn prayers on Friday at al-Aqsa mosque.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hamas spokesman in the holy city of al-Aqsa, Muhammad Hamadeh, in a message, said: "We salute our people who perform the dawn prayers at Al-Aqsa, and we stress the necessity of increasing attendance to the al-Aqsa mosque, especially in these days when the settlers are threatening to carry out a series of crimes at Al-Aqsa in conjunction with their Talmudic holidays."

Under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, groups of Israeli settlers invaded the revered Al-Aqsa Mosque in the past days.

The so-called “Temple Mount groups” continue to call for the largest possible number of settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque during the upcoming Jewish holidays, set to begin later this month.

Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily violations and intrusions by settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, under the protection of Israeli police, in an attempt to assert full control over the holy site, both temporally and spatially.
