Iran Press/ Middle East: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is an international document adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948, to enshrine the rights and freedoms of all human beings.
On the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Mustafa Ibrahim, the head of Palestinian's Independent Commission for Human Rights, said in an interview with Iran Press in Gaza: "The occupying regime of Israel is committing crimes by killing and besieging Palestinians."
He noted that since the beginning of 2022, about 160 Palestinians had been killed in the West Bank and 50 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Mustafa Ibrahim underlined that the Zionist occupying regime had committed a crime by building Zionist settlements and confiscating Palestinian lands, and it is necessary to prosecute this regime for committing these crimes.
The Zionist regime, with the support of the United States and the silence of the international community, always commits crimes against the Palestinian nation and targets the Palestinian people, especially the youth and children, in various ways.
This week at least five Palestinians were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces in West Bank, resulting in armed confrontations with the Resistance fighters.
