Iran Press/Iran News: In the meeting hosted by the Iranian embassy in Islamabad, the participants announced: "The Islamic world needs to maintain and expand the unity of the Islamic Ummah and follow the instructions of the Holy Quran more than ever now."
The participants condemned any anti-Islamism in the world, stressing the need to confront this negative and sinister current and called for integrated cooperation to counter the growing current of Islamophobia.
In the final resolution of the meeting, it was declared that resistance against aggression and occupation had been the legitimate right of nations and that resorting to any forms of terrorism was condemned by Islam and the international community.
The resolution states that 'sectarianism' and 'takfir' among Muslims are favored by the enemies of the Islamic world and have dangerous consequences for the Islamic unity, and its avoidance is vital for the Islamic society's interests.
The resolution condemned any attempt to normalize relations with the Zionist regime or to violate the rights of the oppressed Palestinians in any form such as the so-called "Deal of the Century."
