Iran's Leader meeting with the Pakistani delegation on October 13, Tehran

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan met Saudi Arabia’s King Salman on Tuesday, two days after he visited Iran on a mission to defuse tensions between Riyadh and Tehran.

Iran Press/Middle East: Saudi state news agency SPA reported Tuesday that Khan and King Salman had discussed “latest developments at the regional and international arenas and efforts exerted towards them.”

Imran Khan also met Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Khan on Sunday held talks with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani as well as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran, where he stressed the importance of avoiding such a conflict.

Admiring the concerns of the Pakistani government regarding restoring peace and security, Ayatollah Khamenei in this meeting referred to West Asia as very sensitive and critical region and stressed the vigilance of all regional states to prevent outbreak of any incident, and expressed regret on the destructive role of some countries in the region in support of terrorist groups in Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

The Leader also told Imran Khan that a proper end to the ongoing war waged by Saudi Arabia and its allies on Yemen can have positive effects on the region, highlighting Iran's plan as a suitable solution to this crisis.
