On Wednesday, Pakistan and India exchanged lists of nuclear facilities and civilian prisoners, including fishermen, as confirmed by official statements from both nations.

Iran Press/Asia: In adherence to a longstanding practice spanning over three decades, India and Pakistan exchanged a list of their nuclear installations on Wednesday under a bilateral agreement that prohibits attacks on each other's atomic facilities.

According to a statement from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, the two South Asian nuclear neighbors exchanged lists of nuclear installations and facilities.

"The exchange occurred in accordance with the Agreement on Prohibition of Attacks against Nuclear Installations and Facilities between Pakistan and India. Signed on 31 December 1988, the agreement stipulates that both countries must notify each other of their nuclear installations and facilities falling under its purview on the 1st of January each calendar year," stated the release.

It mandates the countries to inform each other of the nuclear installations and facilities to be covered under the agreement on the first day of January every year. 219
