Iran Press/ Europe: Today, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, on the sidelines of the 58th Munich Security Conference, said: "The opening of the transit route in the shortest possible time indicates the efforts of the two countries to maintain stable neighborly relations."
In this meeting, Amir-Abdollahian discussed and exchanged views on the development and expansion of bilateral relations and some issues of common concern in the regional and international arenas.
Amir-Abdollahian considered maintaining stability and security in the Caucasus region as the definite priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran and stressed Tehran's opposition to any geopolitical change in the region.
During the meeting, the Armenian Foreign Minister thanked Iran for its assistance in maintaining peace and stability in the region and presented a report on the latest developments in the Caucasus.
Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized: "Yerevan wants to seriously pursue the joint projects defined between the two countries and is also ready to send economic, trade, and technical delegations to Iran in this regard."
