Iran Press/ Iran News: In the last 10 days, there has been a notable surge in insults directed towards Islamic sanctities in European countries.
Sweden and Denmark have once again allowed for the disrespect of the Holy Quran. Furthermore, a far-right group in Denmark burned a copy of the Quran in front of the Iraqi embassy in Copenhagen.
Islamic countries, while condemning the desecration of the Holy Qur'an, summoned the Swedish ambassadors in protest.
Nasser Kanani, on Tuesday night, added: "Following the joint proposal of the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq, the contacts of Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian with his counterparts in Islamic countries, and a conversation with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, this organization agreed to hold an extraordinary meeting on Monday, 31 July.
