Iran Press/ Iran news: Abass Mohammad-Hassani said in an interview with Iran Press: "If there were no teachers, there would be no knowledge or civilization, and ignorance would spread everywhere."
During a ceremony held to honor the teachers in the Iranian Army Air Defense on Sunday, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Hassani told Iran Press: "If there is no teacher, ignorance will cover people and destroy the society."
He considered teachers as the architects and builders of the future civilization.
"A teacher is in charge of the fight against ignorance, and in the absence of a teacher, people lose all their material and spiritual assets," the army's top official noted.
