Iran Press/ Middle East: According to the Yemen News Agency SABA, Prime Minister of Yemen's National Salvation Government (NSG) Abdel-Aziz bin Habtour, in a meeting in Sana'a with Iran's Ambassador to Yemen Hassan Irloo, discussed on Saturday different aspects of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways to develop them in political, cultural and media fields.
In the meeting, Bin Habtour praised the stances of the brothers in Iran in support of the Yemeni people in their current ordeal.
The NSG Prime Minister renewed his congratulations to the Iranian leadership, government, and people on the success of the presidential elections, which had a great impact on the regional level, especially the axis of resistance.
He appreciated the ambassador's activities serving the brotherly relations and steps to work in partnership with the relevant ministries.
For his part, the Iranian Ambassador praised the depth of the historical brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries, confirming that Iran will continue to stand by the Yemeni cause until the establishment of a just and comprehensive peace.
Irloo explained that the strategic location of the Republic of Yemen and its natural resources made it the object of ambitions and targets for the colonial countries of the West and their allies.
Saudi Arabia, with the support of the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and several other countries, invaded Yemen in March 2015. The outbreak of war by Saudi Arabia and its allies in Yemen has so far killed tens of thousands and displaced millions of Yemenis.
The Saudi military aggression has also left the impoverished country of Yemen severely short of food and medicine.
The Saudi regime and its allies have so far failed to achieve their goals in the war against Yemenis.
