Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif has emphasized that the era when one country had a monopoly over power is over and no single country can claim to decide the fate of the entire world.

Iran Press/Iran news: In an event to commemorate the Khorasan Daily in Mashhad, northeast Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif added: "Today’s world is not of the kind that one country could decide for a group of other states. Power is now distributed among many different countries and it is not exclusive anymore."

According to an Iran Press report Zarif said: "Our greatest honour is that no one can tell us if I don’t support you for a week, you will be speaking Arabic, Russian, or English."

Zarif went on to highlight the fact that Iran's independence is not a minor achievement. He also stressed the fact that Iran relies on its own domestic capabilities and resources to ensure security, and promote industrial development.

On Oct 02, 2018, US president Donald Trump said: "We protect Saudi Arabia. Would you say they’re rich? And I love the King, King Salman. But I said King – we’re protecting you – you might not be there for two weeks without us – you have to pay for your military.”
