Iran Press/ Africa: During the program held on Sunday at the Tomb of Nigeria's first Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, recitation of the holy Qur'an, history of Shahid Qasem Soleimani, and lecturers about him were among the activities conducted.
Sheikh Ahmad Yusuf Yashi, a senior member and the representative of the Islamic Movement in Bauchi State urged the youth to emulate Qassem Soleimani who used his entire life in service to humanity.
The Islamic cleric said Qassem Soleimani stood firmly in the path of residence and stopped the evil dream of the United States of using ISIS terrorists to pave the way to Israelis to make their dream of destroying and occupying the Middle East come true.
Immediately after the program, Iran Press correspondent interviewed one of the participants, Talha Sa'id Ghani, Director of the Ministry of Education who described Qassem Soleimani as the universal General.
Talha Sa'id Ghani said: "In summary, Qassem Soleimani is a universal General that protected the legacy of Imam Khomeini. And the legacy of Imam Khomeini was the establishment of universal Islam, not a sectional or regional Islam. And that is why Qassem Soleimani is worthy of emulation by all universally."
The director added that Imam Khomeini was talking about a universal Islam which is protecting the interests of Islam, being Sunni or Shi'a, and humanity being Muslim or none Muslim. That is why anywhere you see a war or fight against injustice, you will see the contributions of the Iranian government directly or indirectly to the oppressed ones because Iran is always against the oppression of human beings. Iranians are always working towards the establishment of general freedom for all human beings.
