Iran Press/ Iran News: In reviewing the qualification of President Ebrahim Raisi suggested minister to the Parliament, MPs expressed their views in agreement and disagreement with proposed Minister of Economic and Finance Ehsan Khandouzi.
Opponents Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini, the representative of Meshkinshahr, said the proposed minister of finance, Ehsan Khandouzi, poorly pointed to issues such as foreign investments, removal of economic, political, and bureaucratic obstacles for investment as well as inter-sector and legal barriers.
Mehrdad Veis Karami, from Khorramabad, referred to the Khandouzi's lack of clear opinion about the Islamic Economy that needed the country.
Proponents Masoumeh Pashai, the representative of Marand and Jolfa's people, said the proposed minister of finance possessed policy-making experiences in the parliament's research center, vast connections with the parliament and university, and being young anti-corruption.
Mohammad Reza Pourebrahimi, the representative of Kerman and Ravar's people, highlighted Khandouzi's seriousness, pursuit, and scientific dominance among his characteristics, qualifying him for the ministry of finance.
Iran Parliament kicked off an open session on Saturday morning to review the list of cabinet ministers of the 13th administration.
The parliamentarians will review the list of the cabinet members in the open sessions of the Parliament to the end of the confidence vote process.
