Tehran (IP) - The Minister of Intelligence reported the arrest of two ISIS leaders affiliated with non-neighboring countries by the Iranian security forces.

Iran Press/Iran news: Ismail Khatib, Minister of Intelligence, on the sidelines of the last session of the 13th administration's cabinet in the group of journalists, referring to the recent statement of the Ministry about the heavy and silent battle with terrorists in the last 50 days, said: "With the support and cooperation of security, and cultural teams and people's vigilance, the Intelligence Ministry succeeded in arresting and identifying about 20 people who are usually illegal citizens during 12 operations."

The Minister of Intelligence added that about 12 of these 20 people were agents who came to carry out terrorist operations. 2 people were among the leaders of the Takfiri groups who were affiliated with non-neighboring countries.

Iran's Intelligence Minster stated that the new method that the terrorists implement is that they come with their families to act normally, adding: "I want people to be more sensitive in renting property and employing illegal citizens."

Khatib emphasized that because the border controls have increased with the help of the armed forces, they make their provision from inside; thus, more care is required in the sale of dual or multi-purpose appliances.

In response to a question about the presentation of other aspects concerning the helicopter crash of the late martyred President Raisi and his companions, the Minister of Intelligence noted that the responsibility of following up the martyrdom incident of the president and his companions lies with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
