Tehran (IP) - Iran will do take reciprocal diplomatic measures in response to Azerbaijan Republic's abnormal action against Iran, said the Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Iran Press/Iran News: Continuing its nonconstructive approach to Tehran, the Republic of Azerbaijan labeled four of the Iranian employees of Iran's Embassy in Baku as persona non grata on Thursday and gave them a 48-hour deadlock to leave the country.

The Parliament of the Azerbaijan Republic issued an anti-Iranian statement today, Friday.

Nasser Kanaani said on Friday in response to the action of the Azerbaijan Republic's government that Iran considered such a behavior of Azerbaijan in contrast with the good neighborliness principles.

He referred to the Palestinian issue and the necessity of the Islamic Ummah's unity to support Palestine and called for the Azerbaijan Republic to move based on mutual respect and avoid serving the Israeli regime's goals.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has put reciprocal diplomatic measure on its agenda while emphasizing the observance of the good neighborliness policy focusing on the sinister goals of the Zionist regime in casting division and tension among the Islamic countries," Kanaani pointed out.
