Imam Kazim (AS) was well-known for his modesty, honesty, and generosity, and due to his high patience and kindness to those who bothered him, he was named 'Kazim', which means the one who suppress his anger.
After the martyrdom of his father Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS), Imam Kazim (AS) shouldered the responsibility of guiding the Muslims.
Imam Kazim's (AS) shrine is located in Kadhimiya, north to Baghdad the capital city of Iraq.
