Iran PressIran news: Talking to Iran Press in an interview on Wednesday, Mohammad Dehghan said following up on the case in the past months, the Supreme Court of Luxembourg accepted the CBI's objection and arguments and violated the previous verdict to vote for Iran.

Dehghan said: "Of course, there are challenges with European countries, but a very important decision was made in our favor in the French Supreme Court in a few important months, despite the French Attorney General's request that Iran should not have legal immunity."

"Fortunately, the Supreme Court of France rejected the French Attorney General's request at the first glance and the verdict was issued in favor of the immunity of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

He pointed to the US as another challenge for Iran in legal affairs, explaining that it formed cases against Iran and in favor of the American defendants in such a way that the verdicts were implemented in Europe, but only Canada cooperated with the US.

Italy also was another legal challenge Dehghan referred to, saying: " One of our other challenges is Italy, where the Italian Constitutional Court issued a verdict similar to that of the French Attorney General, and that the Islamic Republic is pursuing the case in the Italian courts.

He expressed hope that relations between Iran and Italy in the past, could prevent Italy from obeying the US and the immunity of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be considered. 219
