Iran Press/Iran news: During the weekly meeting of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary of Iran on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi stated: "Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was a commander, a figure and an influential man that first gained capacity himself and then was able to create many capacities in the Islamic world."
Lt. Gen. Soleimani is a figure in the Islamic world who became the source of many stabilities and victories over the enemies, Raisi noted.
Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani, Former Commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Leader of the Iraqi People's Mobilization Unit (PMU), along with 8 others, were killed on January 3, 2020, in an airstrike by US terrorist forces near Baghdad airport in Iraq.
