Iran Press/Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei warned on Tuesday that top Iranian officials are totally against any negotiation with the United States at any level of talks.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution referred to the commendable vigilance of the Iranian people vis-a-vis enemy plots and conspiracies during the past four decades, emphasising that the only way to overcome the difficulties faced by the nation is to rely on the Iranian people, particularly talented and skilled young Iranians, and to optimally use the internal resources and capabilities within the country, Iran Press reported.
The Leader pointedly added: "Now that the Americans have mooted the idea of Tehran-Washington negotiations once again, I have to say that their intention is to force us to accept their will, they want to prove that the maximum pressure policy has worked in relation to Iran. I say that the maximum pressure policy is worthless and useless against Iran, and all Iranian officials unanimously agree that no negotiations whatsoever will take place with America at any level."
Commenting on various topical issues and enemy propaganda against the Islamic Republic, the Leader said: "The Iranian nation will confront the extensive and deep anti-Iran propaganda and media campaign by the West which targets the Iranian nation and our Islamic sanctities, and we shall decide soon."
"The Iranian government and all relevant departments and ministries are vigilant in relation to this anti-Islamic Republic propaganda campaign, which is generally a covert campaign, but sometimes we see tell-tale signs of this campaign in various corners of our country. The most important thing, though, is the role of the people and their awareness and vigilance", Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
