Iran Press/ Iran news: Ayatollah Khamenei, in a message to the conference commemorating the 'Day of Basij Professors', emphasized the responsibility and role of Basij professors in combining scientific progress and innovation with ethics and carnal education.
The text of the message of the Leader of the Revolution, which was read by Hojjatoleslam Rostami, the head of the Office of the Leader in universities, at the conference commemorating the Basij Professors, is as follows:
In the name of God,
I send greetings to the university Basij professors and their gathering on the National Day of the Basij professors, and I commemorate Martyr Mostafa Chamran and other university martyrs. The presence of committed, pious, and diligent professors in the country's universities is one of the greatest divine blessings and a harbinger of the glorious future and salvation of the Iranian nation. Your advanced knowledge, both in strategic and fundamental issues, as well as in critical and applied issues, is the absolute and urgent need of the country.
Basij professor's activity is not only education, scientific progress, innovation in the nature of knowledge and its language, combining education with ethics, striving for producing knowledge, and other such tasks are among the responsibilities of the professors, and you, dear Basijis, can be a forerunner in all these fields. I ask God Almighty for your success.
