Iran Press/ Iran news: The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said early on Tuesday in a meeting with the Friday prayers leaders from all across the country: "The whole world agrees that the people of Gaza are oppressed and victorious. In the view of the people of the world, including Muslim and non-Muslim, the usurping regime is cruel, like a bloodthirsty wolf and merciless, and it is also sad, defeated, and disintegrated."
He further pointed to the role of the people in the Islamic Republic and added: "It is not possible to achieve Islamic goals without public participation in politics. People's participation is an Islamic principle."
In another part of his speech, he considered turnout in the elections a duty, and the mere right of the people.
