Jordan's air force air-dropped vital medical supplies to a field hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip, King Abdullah II said early Monday.

Iran Press/ West Asia: King Abdullah II of Jordan took to his X account to announce the air-drop operation, which took place at midnight on October 18. He praised the courage of the Air Force personnel who carried out the mission and expressed his solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The people of Gaza, who have been suffering from the ongoing Israeli aggression, received a gesture of support from their Jordanian neighbors.

The Jordanian Air Force delivered a shipment of medical supplies to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza by parachuting it from the sky.

Since then, Israel has relentlessly bombarded the Gaza Strip and sent in ground troops, with the health ministry in the Hamas-run Palestinian territory saying that 9,770 people have been killed, around two-thirds of them women and children. 219
