IP - Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the war cabinet toured southern Israel earlier today to see the military’s preparations for the expected ground offensive into Gaza.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The top war body consists of Netanyahu, war Minister Yoav Gallant, and Minister Benny Gantz.

Meanwhile, the chief of Israel's military forces says that it continuing to prepare for the expected ground offensive in the Gaza Strip with “plans for the expansion of the fighting” being approved in recent days.

Troops are “conducting training in accordance with the approved operational plans,” the "IDF" says.

The Israeli Military Forces have deployed tens of thousands of troops to the Gaza border in recent days, ahead of a major ground incursion which officials have said will begin “soon.”

Meanwhile, the chief of the Israeli Air Force  Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar during a briefing with senior commanders says the military, during the upcoming ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, will be treating Hamas as if it was not harmed at all by the last two weeks of heavy airstrikes on its assets.
