Israel begins to place mobile shelters in north as tensions escalate

Israel, scared of the possible calculated operation of Hezbollah fighters, has moved a large number of mobile shelters to borders of the occupied Palestinian with Lebanon.

Iran Press/Middle East: Lebanese media said late on Tuesday the Israeli army has reduced its military patrols on the Lebanese border.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army also banned unnecessary traffic along its northern borders with Lebanon.

Tensions between Hezbollah and Israel rose on Sunday 25 August, after two Hezbollah members were killed in an Israeli strike in Syria and two drones crashed near the Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut.

"In light of an operational status assessment, it was decided that the movement of certain military vehicles on several roads would be possible only on the basis of individual approval and in accordance with the situational assessment of the situation," the Israeli army said in a statement.

The Israeli army has placed Iron Dome missile defense system in the north.
