Iran Press/West Asia: Israel waged the war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The war on Gaza has killed at least 45,227 Palestinians and wounded 107,573 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken captive.

The Israeli army has also killed one Palestinian in the occupied West Bank.

The killing took place as 20 Palestinians were trying to cross the separation wall north of the West Bank, according to a report from Israeli media outlet Ynet News.
