Iran Press/ Iran News: Emphasizing the necessity of pathology of the current situation in the field of human sciences, the president described the realization of human sciences at the level of the glorious Islamic Revolution to have some shortcomings that must be compensated by the ijtihad and innovative view of scholars and scientists in this field.
At the closing ceremony of the 13th Farabi International Award, Ebrahim Raisi said: "In meetings like this, it is necessary for scientists and educated people to offer suggestions and solutions to reduce the gap with the desired situation while diagnosing the existing situation."
The president also emphasized the necessity of pathology in the field of humanities, adding: "Islamic humanities are the brains of governance and management and the driving force of progress in a system that is based on religion and its content is science and knowledge."
Raisi emphasized that our humanities should be at the level of the Islamic Revolution and added: "It seems that there are shortcomings in what should have happened in order to achieve the humanities at the level of the Islamic Revolution, and this shortcoming should be compensated by the researchers and professors of this field."
The president emphasized the necessity of theorizing, innovation, and creativity in the field of human sciences and paid attention to the religious approach in this field.

The president described showing the way to human beings as a serious mission of Islamic humanities and stated: "In order to grow and develop in the field of humanities, imitation of the West in this field must be abandoned, and work should be done based on the rich foundations of Islam, ijtihad and innovative efforts."
Raisi emphasized the need to create seats for criticism and acceptance of criticism and stated: "As the wise Supreme Leader of the Revolution said, there should not be any fear of criticism and there should be room for discussion and criticism."
The president added: "People involved in humanities should know that the first condition for realising transformation in this field is cognitive transformation, and in this field we should use transformational figures."
He went on to say that the message of this meeting and event should be to what extent the country's problems are addressed by humanities, adding, "One of my concerns has always been the implementation of justice in all fields, especially in the payment of wages."
In this ceremony, ten pioneers of humanities and Islamic sciences, the top ten international professors, and 22 top scientific groups were praised with a memorial plaque.
