Iran Press/ Iran News: On Monday, at the fourth extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Standing Committee of the Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Tehran, Mohammad Qureshi Nias, Secretary-General of the PUIC, stated that a new round of Israeli crimes in the Palestinian territories is dangerous.
The Secretary-General stated that the Islamic Assemblies have responded to Israeli atrocities and ethnic cleansing and policies of apartheid and killing of the Palestinian people. This international support must now be complemented by practical and effective assistance to the Palestinian people.
Mohammad Qureshi Nias stressed that international support for the Palestinians should lead to the siege of the Israeli regime and the prosecution of the occupiers and criminals in international courts.
The Secretary-General of the PUIC also said it is necessary to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure and facilities of the residents of the Gaza Strip and their homes with the help of Islamic countries.
The fourth extraordinary meeting of the Palestine Standing Committee of Member States of the OIC began with the "Quds, the Symbol of Unity and Victory" slogan in Tehran.
