Iran Press/ Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Peyman Jebelli, regarding using young elites in various media fields, said that the transformation program of the IRIB in the new era would be identity-oriented and justice-oriented.
Jebeli stressed that in this transformation program, IRIB must be the driving force for Iranian-Islamic progress.
"IRIB has always been the greatest social activist in Iranian society. This very important position of social activism at the highest levels requires IRIB to make new discourse and be synergistic," he added.
All national capacities must be used, especially the capacities of the young elites in the transformation program of the new era of IRIB, the new head of IRIB underlined.
The head of the IRIB outlined the future plans of the IRIB networks to cover all regions throughout the country and noted: "The IRIB belongs to the people. In fact, if we want to rely on one principle in this era, that principle is that the IRIB is a harbinger of people's will."
Jebeli, stating that the people are the main owners of the media, stressed that the IRIB must be the voice of those whose voices do not reach anywhere. "The national media should be a real example of the people-oriented media in new era."

The new head of the IRIB added that in this period of transformation, the IRIB should reflect the capacities and the capabilities of the people, as well as social virtues available at the community level.
"IRIB should see and use these capabilities and capacities, and in a way reflects the demands and concerns of the masses of the people. The national media should not reflect the views of a particular class, and a class who is separated from the people," Jebelli noted.
In another part of his interview, he stressed: "Our program for transformation in the new era will be that public access to the media is the right of the people and all people should have access to the media. One example of this access is that we want to maximize IRIB's networks coverage. Of course, it is very good and acceptable, but it is not perfect. We should try to be able to turn this into a complete coverage."
Regarding the role of IRIB in helping to implement the provisions of the Statement of Second Step of the Islamic Revolution outlined by the Leader, Jebelli underscored: "This is the first period of transformation in the IRIB after the issuance of the Statement of Second Step of the Islamic Revolution. Our central slogan in the IRIB in this period is to take steps for realization of a new Islamic civilization."
"The phrase 'modern Islamic civilization' is at the heart of the Leader's Statement of Second Step of the Islamic Revolution. The meaning of this new Islamic civilization is that we define audience boundaries beyond Iranian audiences, while producing content and programs for Iranian audiences," he added.
"Certainly, our focus will be on regional and international audiences, so our slogan in this period is based on the statement of the second step, and that is to strive for the realization of a new Islamic civilization," Jebelli highlighted.
The chief of IRIB about the next steps of the IRIB in strengthening the World Service's networks, stated: "Our central slogan in this period of transformation of the IRIB is to try to achieve a new Islamic civilization. Therefore, we must work to convey the message of the revolution beyond the borders of the Islamic Republic."
Jebelli underlined: "Our international view is not superficial. The capacities and capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are global capacities. If in the region, we start from these capacities and the synergy of these capacities, we can reach global arena. In this regard, the role of World Service's networks is very important, so one of the main topics of our measures in the new era will be the strengthening of World Service."
