Tehran (IP) - In the meeting between the head of IRIB and the Chief Commander of the Police Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the cooperation, interaction, and synergy between the two institutions and attention to the concerns of the people were emphasized.

Iran PressIran news: Peyman Jebelli Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) on the sidelines of the meeting with the Chief Commander of the Police Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan, said: "The national media and the police commander are both institutions that have a direct relationship with the society and the people and, there is a lot of cooperation, interaction, and synergy between the two institutions especially in the field of culture.

Pointing out that this meeting was a good opportunity to review the useful experiences of these two institutions in the past, Peyman Jebeli said: "In this meeting, new cooperation and broader areas, especially in the field of culture building and especially in reducing road accidents, development of transport culture, driving, and training people to deal with crime, abnormalities in society, and other issues were discussed.

He said: "With good initial agreements, we hope that the new season of the mission of the Police Command with the new period of transformation in IRIB will be a source of good and many blessings for our dear people."

The head of the IRIB added: "The National Media announces its readiness to cooperate and synergize with the police commander and welcomes new areas and cooperation, especially in the drama work in the National Media, to show the real stories of the people familiar with the missions and sacrifices of the police."

Jebeli said: "IRIB  has announced its readiness to carry out new missions in the fields of information, news, drama and documentation, and we are trying to carry out these missions well."

He added: "Police issues in the national media are one of the most popular and attractive types of content, and with extensive cooperation between the media and the police in this field, both the media's antenna will be well fed and the law enforcement missions of the country will be helped."

Iran's police chief also said, "One of the priorities of the police and radio and television is always to pay attention to the concerns of the people, and this issue is the priority of these two institutions."

Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Radan added: "There are commonalities between the police force and radio and television, and one of these commonalities is the discussion of people's concerns, and with the appropriate and timely actions of these two institutions, people can feel more secure."
