Tehran (IP) - The Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) Organization said the election debate would focus on economic issues.

Iran PressIran news:  Joining the presidential candidates on Monday, Peyman Jebelli said that IRIB sought help from universities, think tanks, and surveys from people, and that based on the information gathered the economic issue was put on the priority of the debates. 

Jebelli stated that the IRIB's priority is to encourage a high turnout in the coming election and to provide the candidates with equal opportunities to introduce themselves and their plans. 

Jebelli said that the national media would reflect the fact for the international audience that the presidential election is an institutionalized phenomenon in the Islamic Republic. 

Iran snap Presidential Election 2024 will be held on June 28 after the martyrdom of late President Raisi and his accompanying delegation including the Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in a helicopter crash on Sunday, May 19 in the Dizmar forest in East Azerbaijan Province.
