The top commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari has said the execution of 40,000 construction projects have begun across Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: In a press conference held in Tehran on Saturday, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari added these projects are small-scale projects which are expected to be completed within months, and they are being implemented in the deprived regions of the country, Iran Press reported.

He said: "The further we move out from the center of cities and provinces to rural areas, the more we reach deprived areas. These projects are small-scale and quick to implement and also benefit the entire population in remote regions."

IRGC commander said that the Iranian government and other organizations like Construction Jihad focus on big projects, but these 40,000 projects mainly have been done and completed by the people with a bare minimum of budget in the deprived and underdeveloped areas of the country.

These projects are mainly aimed at improving the welfare of the population and are expected to be operational within 4-6 months.

According to the commander of Iran's Basij (volunteer) force, Brigadier General Gholam-Hossein Gheib-Parvar, people and donors will have a strong partnership in implementing these projects.
