Iran Press/Iran- Marjan Petrochemicals' Methanol Production Unit was opened during President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to Assalouyeh, a project that is capable of producing 1.65 million tonnes of methanol a year.The President also visited different parts of the unit and was briefed by the managers of the projects and experts on the processes.
In another ceremony, President Rouhani has unveiled Phase 3 of ammonia and urea production of Pardis Petrochemicals in Assalouyeh, with a capacity of producing 1.755 million tonnes ammonia and urea started operation.Dr Rouhani also visited different parts of the project and was briefed by senior managers and experts involved in the project.
With the opening of Phase 3 of Pardis Petrochemical Complex, the complex will become the largest producer of these products in the Middle East and the world with an annual production capacity of 5,265,000 tonnes of urea and ammonia.
