West Asia(IP): Iraq’s Islamic Resistance announced that it had struck an Israeli military target in occupied Golan Heights , Syria.

Iran Press/ West Asia: The anti-terror group made the announcement in a statement on Monday, saying the target in question had been hit using kamikaze drones.

The coalition said it had carried out the operation “in continuation of our path of resisting the occupation.”

The Golan Heights have been under Israeli occupation since 1967, when the regime launched a large-scale war against the regional Arab states, including Syria.

The drone strike, the resistance added, also came “in support of our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians including children, women, and the elderly.”

The Iraqi resistance concluded its statement by pledging to “continue striking the enemy's strongholds."

During its previous operations, the resistance group had warned of an escalation of its attacks on the Israeli bases if the aggression continued in Gaza.

According to a report released on the 200th day of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Iraqi resistance fighters had launched 243 attacks against the Zionist regime in different parts of Iraq, the occupied lands and Syria.

Over 37,000, mostly children and women, have been killed in Gaza since the start of Israel’s genocidal war in the enclave last October.
