Referring to the consequences of the expansion of the war in the region, Iraq's foreign minister warned against expanding the scope of the war in West Asia.

Iran Press/West Asia: Iraq's foreign minister, Fuad Hussein stated: "The risks of the expansion of the conflict in the region are still high due to the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, and this situation may lead to other wars in other regions."

He added that this situation may lead to endangering the security and peace of the region and the world.

Referring to the holding of an extraordinary meeting of the leaders of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh, the Iraqi Foreign Minister added: "Iraq, like many Arab and Islamic countries, has focused its efforts on establishing a ceasefire, while so far no solution has been found in the field of stopping the war and humanitarian aid. The result has not been reached."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq emphasized that his country is trying to host the Arab countries in the meeting of Arab leaders next May and is communicating and consulting with the Arab countries to discuss the content of the next meeting.
