(IP)- In an announcement on Thursday, Iran's election headquarters, through publication number 18, confirmed that the voting process will commence nationwide at 8:00 AM on Friday, March 11.

Iran PressIran news:   "The voting process for the 12th term of the parliament and the 6th term of the Assembly of Experts is scheduled to start promptly at 8:00 AM on Friday," the announcement stated, highlighting the readiness of all branches across the country to receive votes from eligible candidates (March 2, 2006, and before).

Iran is scheduled to hold the sixth term of elections for the Assembly of Experts and the 12th term of elections for the parliament on March 1.

Notably, there are two distinct elections on the horizon: the Assembly of Experts election, which aims to elect 88 members for an extended eight-year term, and the parliamentary election, which will determine representatives for a standard four-year term.
