Iran Press/ Middle East: The semi-finals of the first five weights of the world championship youth wrestling competition were held today (Friday) in Amman, Jordan, and at the end, 4 Iranians made it to the finals.
Ahmadreza Mohsennejad at 63 kg, Alireza Abdevali at 77 kg, Abolfazl Choubani at 87 kg, and Fardin Hedayati at the 130 kg weight category reached the final, while Ali Ahmadi Vafa in 55 kg weight went to the classification match.
The competitions will be resumed tomorrow as more young Iranians are waiting to show their talent to the World.
Earlier, the Iranian freestyle wrestling team managed to snatch four gold medals, one silver, and one bronze medal in the U-20 World Championships to become the World Champion team of 2023.
