Iran Press/ Asia: The 2022 Bolat Turlykhanov Cup wrestling event in Almaty, Kazakhstan, began on June 2 and will continue until June 5, 2022.
Hassan Yazdani, Iranian Olympic and world champion freestyle wrestler, won the final match, dominating his Slovak rival 11-0 to become the champion in this tournament.
Kamran Ghasempour, who won his first world gold medal in 2021 in Norway in the weight of 92 kg, was exempted from the qualifying competitions like Hassan Yazdani, and after eight months in the Turlykhanov Cup, he went on the mat.
Kamran, who many experts know as the most technical wrestler in Iran, defeated Vicky from India in his first wrestling today with a result of 10 to zero.
Moreover, Ghasempour defeated Abdi Manaf Bayagnjev of Kazakhstan 11-0 to advance to the final.
Although Ghasempour seemed to be more challenged than Kazakhstan in the final against Adlit Dovlombayev, he easily beat the country's wrestler with a series of attacks minutes after Hassan Yazdani's storm in the 86kg final.
The freestyle wrestler, who ran away for his second world gold, won the race 11-0 before the final whistle to win the Turlikhanov Cup without a single point, with 42 positive points.
