Iran Press/Iran News: Kianoush Jahanpour, head of the Ministry of Health's Public Relations and Information Center, said that the students and Iranian nationals were transferred to the previously designated checkpoint after arriving at the airport and the examinations are now underway by relevant experts in the field.
He said, "After initial investigations, people will be sent to a pre-designated quarantine facility and will receive special health care for 14 days to ensure their health," Iran Press reported.
On Tuesday, a special flight with quarantine equipment and a team of specialists departed for Wuhan, China, to transport 80 Iranians residing in China.
Chinese authorities have taken extraordinary steps to arrest the virus's spread, including effectively locking down more than 50 million people in Wuhan and surrounding Hubei province.
China also has urged its own citizens to delay trips abroad, after more than 15 countries confirmed infections.
Meanwhile earlier, Iran's Health Minister Saeed Namaki said no case of Coronavirus has so far been observed in Iran, saying that visas for Chinese citizens will be issued if they have a clean health card.
